Almost Raw Blender Butternut Squash Soup Thumbnail


  • 1 butternut squash, peeled and cut into cubes (about 4 cups)
  • 4 tablespoons tomato sauce, juice, or 2 tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoons white miso
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 piece fresh ginger, peeled and chopped (about 1-2″)
  • 1 piece fresh turmeric, peeled and chopped (about 1/2″)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Sea salt and pepper, to taste
  • Garnishes: apple cubes, freshly minced ginger and turmeric, pumpkin seeds, black salt


Put all ingredients in a high speed blender using the “Soup” function (if available), or blend at high speed until ultra creamy. Garnish with your choice of garnishes.
