I use this cashew sour cream on these tacos, on vegetables, in sandwiches, with apple slices, you name it, it’s THAT versatile. You can add herbs or spices to it, just let your imagination run wild.

Cashew Sour Cream

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cup raw cashews, soaked overnight or 1 hour in hot water
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

Drain and rinse the cashews, and discard the soaking water. Place the cashews, along with 3/4 cup water, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and sea salt in a blender, and blend until very smooth. Enjoy!

Crème sûre à base de noix de cajou

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 tasse de noix de cajou non-rôties et non-salées, trempées toute une nuit ou 1 heure dans l’eau bouillante
  • 3/4 tasse d’eau
  • 2 c. à soupe de jus de citron
  • 2 c. à thé de vinaigre de cidre de pomme
  • 1/2 c. à thé de sel de mer

Instructions

Égoutter et rinser les noix de cajou, et jeter l’eau de trempage. Placer les noix, 3/4 tasse d’eau, le jus de citron, le vinaigre de cidre de pomme, et le sel dans un mélangeur et mélanger jusqu’à l’obtention d’une consistence lisse et onctueuse. Savourer.
